Official Radio Show For 'Van Halen Saga' Book To Begin Airing Next Week

September 17, 2008

"Everybody Wants Some – The Van Halen Saga" is the official radio show for the new book by Ian Christe.

The one-hour radio special features exclusive interviews with bandmembers past and present, music spanning the "classic" VAN HALEN era and an interview with author Ian Christe — a leading expert on hard rock music.

VAN HALEN has sold more than 80 million albums worldwide and has had the most number one hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. They are one of only five rock bands that have had two albums sell more than 10 million copies in the USA and their reunion tour with David Lee Roth was the highest-grossing in the band's history, racking in almost $100 million dollars.

VAN HALEN was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.

The radio program was produced by On the Strip Radio and DS Productions and will begin airing on radio stations across the country next week (check local listings for more details).

As an added bonus, there is a rare radio interview with Eddie Van Halen from 1995 that is available for listening at www.classsicrockarchives.com.
